| ABSTRACT: The present article analyzes the pedagogical innovations for the teaching of Arithmetic proposed in 1872 edition of Lev Tolstoy's Primer [Aзбyкa]. Among the results found in the analysis of the author's Arithmetic, we highlight the correlation of Lev Nikolaevitch Tolstoy's knowledge with the modern pedagogical proposals in circulation in the world; the use of the abacus in the teaching of arithmetic and its application to other number bases. | ||
